The FAST Incentive Patrol made its way across both campuses on Friday, bringing plenty of energy and excitement as we celebrated student growth and achievement. One of the biggest highlights was our Level 5 recognition. This year, 139 students earned Level 5 signs across the district, up from 110 last year. That increase represents a lot of hard work, dedication, and persistence from both our students and staff. But the day was about much more than just top scores.
The excitement continued as student names were drawn for cash prizes. Entries were earned based on both proficiency and learning gains, giving students multiple ways to be recognized for their success. By the end of the day, nearly $2,000 in cash prizes had been awarded across the district. Our K–3 students joined in on the celebration as well, with a pizza party held in every classroom.
Our goal was simple for today. We wanted to make growth visible and celebrated and to make sure our students know that their hard work matters. Whether a student reached the highest level or showed significant growth from where they started, we wanted them to feel seen, recognized, and proud of what they accomplished.
