Hamilton County Celebrates New Certified Clinical Educators

The Hamilton County School District is proud to announce that five additional K-2 teachers have recently completed their Clinical Education Certification, joining a dedicated group of certified educators across the district.

To qualify for the program, participants must be effective or highly effective instructors with at least three years of teaching experience. The certification course, facilitated by Mr. Combass, included six hours of face-to-face instruction and twelve hours of online coursework. Topics covered included building strong relationships, effective communication skills, fostering resiliency, engaging in meaningful coaching conversations, understanding the clinical supervision sequence, and delivering targeted feedback.

With this certification, these instructors join a growing team of clinical educators in our school system, now eligible to mentor student interns and support beginning teachers.

At the recent awards ceremony, Superintendent Zamora shared, “We are incredibly proud of their achievement and grateful for the dedication they continue to show to students, staff, and Hamilton County stakeholders.” Instructors who meet the qualifications and are interested in joining the next training session for the 2025–2026 school year are encouraged to contact Mr. Combass or Ms. Kennedy to get signed up.
