Good morning from HCHS! We miss our students and look forward to seeing you as soon as we can! In the meantime, know that we have been making plans for your learning.
Our plan is to have students use our APEX online learning system to complete their core classes. Our teachers have been working diligently to contact students and families regarding your ability to access these courses. We are also working with our tech department to provide devices as we are able. We will reach out to those families to see what we are able to provide. In the event that APEX is not available due to a lack of internet, we have packets for students to do. Again, we will reach out to families about how to get these packets in the coming days. THE APEX COURSES AND ONLINE PACKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE BEGINNING ON MONDAY, MARCH 30TH.
Our teachers have been working around the clock to contact families and make sure that everyone is okay. They have worked to modify your assignments on APEX to meet the needs of the last quarter as well as creating packets of instruction for you. Teachers will be contacting you on a weekly basis to check on you and help with your courses as you need it.
Seniors, Ms. Eubanks, Mrs. Mitchell, and Mrs. Carter are working to clear you for graduation purposes. Should you have any assignments that need to be done, they will reach out to you to make sure that you are ready for graduation.
We are working to maintain our calendar of scheduled events as best we can. If an event needs to be rescheduled, we will let you know as soon as we possible. We will make our decisions in the best interests of our students while also following the direction of the Florida Department of Education and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
